Considering the Padres' dynamic display, Dylan Cease on the mound was a rock for San Diego. He conjured up a solid performance, earning his third win of the season by giving up just one run over 6 2/3 innings and striking out four. Besides Tatis Jr., both Luis Arraez and Jake Cronenworth contributed key RBIs, while Xander Bogaerts maintained his hot streak with two singles of his own. Even defensively, the Padres shone, with Jose Iglesias making an incredible play in the eighth to deny Vinnie Pasquantino a hit.

More than 43,000 fans flocked to Petco Park for this electrifying encounter, and they certainly got their ticket's worth, with the game wrapping up in a brisk 2 hours and 34 minutes.
