Hey! It's Cookie O'Clock! Welcome to "WNBA Dimes," your go-to podcast for all things women's basketball. I'm Brooke, your host and resident basketball enthusiast with a hint of humor. We've got a lot to cover from yesterday’s jam-packed Sunday of high-octane games and unexpected turns. So, grab a snack and let’s dive into the action!

Let's kick things off with the Chicago Sky vs. Minnesota Lynx showdown. The Sky broke their losing streak in style, defeating the Lynx 87-81 at Wintrust Arena. Ariel Atkins was on fire with 27 points. Our rookies, Angel Reese and Kamilla Cardoso, were unstoppable, both pulling off impressive double-doubles. Minnesota's Napheesa Collier gave it her all with 26 points, but a missed free throw halted her franchise-record streak. Close, but no cigar, right?

On to Seattle, where the Washington Mystics took on the Storm and prevailed 74-69. Brittney Sykes stole the show in the fourth quarter, dropping 10 of her 19 points. Sonia Citron and rookie Kiki Iriafen also stepped up. For Seattle, Ezi Magbegor gave a solid performance, and Skylar Diggins moved up in the WNBA career assists leaderboard. Tip of the hat to you, Skylar!

Heading west to Los Angeles, the Sparks snapped a long 13-game drought against the Connecticut Sun, winning 92-88. Kelsey Plum lit up the second half, ultimately leading her team to victory. A big shoutout to Azurá Stevens for her stellar performance and those crucial offensive rebounds. The Sun had shining moments too, with Bria Hartley hitting a season-high and Saniya Rivers setting a personal record. A real nail-biter until the end!

Then, it was the New York Liberty pulling a Houdini act against the Atlanta Dream. Down by 19 in the first half, they rallied back for a 79-72 win. Leonie Fiebich was the star, hitting back-to-back threes to change the game’s course. Shoutout to Breanna Stewart for her double-double. On the flip side, Atlanta’s Allisha Gray gave it her best with 16 points, while Brittney Griner notched her first Dream double-double. Quite the effort!

Back in Las Vegas, we witnessed a thriller as the Aces edged out the Golden State Valkyries 104-102. A’ja Wilson was an absolute powerhouse with 34 points, moving up on the league's all-time scoring list. Jackie Young added drama, scoring the team's last 10 points. For the Valkyries, Janelle Salaün and Tiffany Hayes both put up a fierce fight in the franchise’s first hundred-plus scoring game.

And finally, how about those Indiana Fever? They clinched a dominant 102-83 victory over the Dallas Wings. Caitlin Clark was versatile with 14 points and 13 assists, while Kelsey Mitchell added 20. Indiana's first-half blitz was one for the history books. Paige Bueckers led Dallas with 21 points but couldn’t stop the Fever’s balanced onslaught.

Before we wrap, a quick update on league happenings: The Dream missed their All-Star Rhyne Howard, and the Storm dealt with injuries of their own. Seattle, however, did make a splash by signing Tiffany Mitchell. Oh, and A'ja Wilson? She shook off a pesky wrist injury like it was nothing, climbing higher on the all-time scorers list.

That was a whirlwind of games, wasn't it? These athletes are rewriting history every chance they get. Thanks for tuning into "WNBA Dimes" with me, Brooke. Until next time, keep shooting your shot and remember, it's always Cookie O'Clock somewhere!
