First up, the Los Angeles Sparks were on fire, eclipsing the Connecticut Sun 101–86. The Sparks hit their first triple-digit score of the season, thanks to a team effort and a hot second quarter. Kelsey Plum led the charge with 30 points, shooting 57% from beyond the arc. Dearica Hamby added her magical touch with a double-double, and Azurá Stevens celebrated her 2,000th career point. What a night for L.A.!

Over in Seattle, the Storm blew past the Chicago Sky 95–57. The second half was historic as Seattle pumped in 56 points. Skylar Diggins showed why she’s a force, scoring 21 points and taking control. Dominique Malonga had a career night, with a double-double that had fans cheering. The Sky simply couldn’t keep up.

The Indiana Fever pulled off a stunner, toppling the Las Vegas Aces 80–70. Kelsey Mitchell turned up the heat with 21 points, bringing the crowd to their feet as Fever rallied from eight down. Natasha Howard’s double-double was a sweet addition, while A’ja Wilson tried to keep the Aces in contention with her 20 points.

In a classic matchup, the Atlanta Dream soared over the Phoenix Mercury 90–79. Allisha Gray was the star, lighting up the scoreboard with 28 points. And Brittney Griner faced off against her former team, thrilling fans with 17 points and a few jaw-dropping dunks.

Time for our Player of the Night leaders! Kelsey Plum takes the spotlight with her dazzling 30 points and all-around gameplay. Skylar Diggins and Kelsey Mitchell both shone brightly, while Allisha Gray’s powerhouse performance was the cherry on top.

Taking a quick look at the standings post-July 24, the Seattle Storm lead the charge in the West, while the Indiana Fever are making waves in the East. The playoff race is heating up, so keep your eyes peeled!

Off the court, there are some updates to share. Caitlin Clark is out for now due to a lingering groin issue, but long-term health is the priority for Indiana’s star rookie. In Dallas, eyes are on Paige Bueckers and Arike Ogunbowale as the Wings weigh their playoff dreams against future draft hopes after their big 87–63 win over Seattle.

And hats off to the Seattle Storm for launching their 2025 Kicks for Equality campaign! This initiative funds meaningful change and ends with the Sneakerball event. A great cause with a splash of style!

That’s a wrap for today’s WNBA Dimes. More fantastic matchups are around the corner as teams jockey for playoff position. Stay tuned, stay excited, and as always, keep it here for your hoop highlights with a twist of humor. Until next time, remember—life’s better with a little cookie on the clock!
